Michael G. O'Grady of Niagara Falls passed away on October 11, 2017, at Niagara Hospice of Lockport, NY after a brave and challenging battle with bone cancer. Born on December 5, 1971 in Niagara Falls to Ronald and Janet (Stiner) O'Grady, Michael attended Niagara Falls High School and graduated with the Class of 1990. Since his teenage years, Michael worked for a number of retailers until 2007, when he enrolled in barber school in Rochester. Michael later opened his own shop, named Grady's Barber Shop (Kenmore, NY) which boasted many faithful customers and was a career he truly enjoyed.
Michael is survived by his mother, Janet; and brothers, Timothy of Lewiston and David (Carol) of Massachusetts; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and special cousin, Susan Stiner. Also, dearly loved by Michael are friends, Mark Patrick, Holly Weil, Ethan Robinson and too many more to list here. He was predeceased by his father, Ronald. He also leaves behind his two beloved French Bulldogs, Stewie and Stella.
There will be no prior visitations. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Michael's name to Roswell Park Cancer Institute (Buffalo, NY) or the Niagara Hospice of Lockport, NY are welcome and appreciated.
