Marion Anthony Daniels (Tony/Tiger) was born on April 27,1955 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Luther Dean Daniels and Elizabeth (Myles) Daniels.
Marion graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1973. He graduated from Niagara Community College with a degree in business. He was employed at Union Carbide, Saint Goblin and 3M's. He was at 3M's until his time of sickness. He enjoyed his job and his co-workers.
Marion accepted Christ early in life at the Morning Star Church of God In Christ under the ministry of Rev. Willie Woods, Sr. He served as a choir member and played the bass guitar. He sung with the family group known as the Daniels Family and also played the bass guitar. He also played the bass guitar for the Mount Zion Male Chorus. He recently joined Mt. Zion under the ministry of Pastor Timothy Brown, Sr. He loved cooking, listening to the Pilgrim Jubilees and Canton Spirituals, watching tennis, spending time with his family, detailing his car and bingo. He was always giving and not expecting anything in return. His favorite sayings were "watch this" and "watch out now."
Marion was called to eternity on June 24, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memories, the love of his life and caretaker of 23 years, Barbara Ann Dumas; daughter, Shavona R. Daniels; and son, Cortez Valentine, both of Niagara Falls, NY; six brothers, Joseph A. Daniels, Michael D. Daniels (Dorothy), Ricky D. Daniels (Gwendolyn), Clarence J. Daniels (Beverly), Frederick V. Daniels and Timothy L. Jones (Malena); three sisters, Sharon J. Daniels, Linda D. Walker (Charles) and Jacqueline R. Jefferson, all of Niagara Falls, NY; one grandson, Laterio Taj'relle Humphrey (Mann) also of Niagara Falls, NY. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also, a special friend, James R. Harris (Big Daddy). He was predeceased by a son, Marion Anthony Daniels, Jr.
Visitation Friday 10AM-12 Noon in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1334 Calumet Avenue, Niagara Falls. Funeral to follow at 12 noon.
