Lois Heck passed away on September 20th at her residence at the Forum in Peoria, AZ. She and her twin sister were born on November 7, 1923 in Niagara Falls, NY. They were so tiny that they were clothed in doll clothes.
She lived in Niagara Falls for 48 years, at which point she and her husband, Leon, moved to Arizona. Lois was an avid seamstress, painter and crafter. She worked at various jobs as a bookkeeper and eventually retired from Hurley Trucking Company where they had to hire two people to replace her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon; her twin, Louise Trowman; and her brother, Dean Howe. She is survived by her four children, Linda Canavan (George) of Sparks, NV, Thomas Heck (Karen), Douglas Heck (Sue) and Michael Heck (Felicia). She also had nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She lived a wonderful life with many friends and family members who will never forget her.
A ceremony will be held at Christmas time when all the family can celebrate together. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix, AZ.
