Kenneth Keller, of Niagara Falls, died unexpectedly on August 28, 2016 on an extended camping trip with his wife, Susann. He became ill on their way home and passed away in Pittsburgh. He was 69. Born in Buffalo, NY on August 4, 1947, the son of the late Kenneth J. Keller and Asdis (Torfadottir) Keller of Niagara Falls.
He was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School. Mr. Keller was employed by Columbus McKinnon for over 20 years and was currently employed by the Durez Corp. as a chemical operator for the past 25 years. In addition to his love of camping, he also enjoyed bowling, traveling, hunting and country music. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and of the American Legion Wheatfield Post 1451.
He is survived by his wife, Susann (Carson) Keller; three children, Heather (Arthur) Francis and David Keller both of Punta Gorda, FL, Krista (Edward) Goodearl of Niagara Falls; three siblings, Kristin Hartel of Niagara Falls, Robert (Patty) Keller of Cambria and Beverly Keller-McKerlie of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Anthony James Holland, Mikala Holland, Katlynn Holland, Loralin Keller, Camrin Goodearl and Clarence James Goodearl; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where the funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 Noon with the Rev. Jean Edmister officiating. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials if desired may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
