Dolores C.'s Story
Dolores C. (Williams) Beck, longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2017 in Niagara Hospice House. She was 86. She was born in Corsica, PA on July 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Troy and Inez (Brown) Williams.
She moved to Niagara Falls with her family when she was a child and she graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Mrs. Beck worked at Carborundum for many years and along with her husband owned and operated the Dug Out Bar and Tavern on 24th and Niagara Street. She loved her time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Rose (late John) Mang, Brenda (Keith) Ulrich and Chuck Beck, Pat Ciessielski; son-in-law, Kurt Kesterson; seven grandchildren, Kelli (Dave) Tubinis, Casey Kesterson, John (Amy Woodruff), Todd and Ryan Mang, Keith John (Mae) Ulrich and Kaylee (Josh Perez) Ulrich; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Tubinis, Ava and Emrick Perez, Madison and Maddux Mang and Bennett Ulrich. She is also survived by her sister, Marylee Bale. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Kesterson; and her granddaughter, Kristi Ulrich.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where services will be held at 8 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorials, if desired may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
