Constance A.'s Story
Constance A. 'Connie' Leo passed away on Tuesday in Roswell Park Cancer Institute at the age of 71. She was born in Niagara Falls and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1962. She attended Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica. Connie worked for Mahoney Insurance on Third Street, Carborundum for 13 years and then as an accounts clerk for Dr. Robert Brezing in Niagara Falls. She met her husband, Allan in homeroom in the 11th grade. Connie enjoyed working in her garden, cooking and opened her home to everyone. She cared for her late parents, Joseph and Joann (nee Sarafite) Parise prior to their deaths. With her giving heart as a final gesture of love, she made her donation to UNYTS.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Allan J. Leo; her brother, Paul J. (Deborah) Parise; a niece, Nicole C. Parise; and a nephew, Christopher P. Parise and his daughter, Makayla E. Parise; father-in-law Joseph A. (late Mary) Leo; sister-in-law, Joelle (Glen 'Herb') Watts of Wichita, KS and brother-in-law, Philip (Dawn) Leo; and daughter, Marielle Leo.
The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday from 10 AM - 1:30 PM at the SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Pine Ave., where funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30 PM. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
