Amelia M. (Jarlenski) Walsh, 88 years old, passed away on September 6, 2016 at Schoellkopf Health Care Center. She was born in Niagara Falls on August 6, 1928, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Hopej) Jarlenski.
Mrs. Walsh was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education as a maintenance worker at Gaskill Junior High School, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and enjoyed knitting.
Mrs. Walsh is survived by her children, Stephen (Barbara) Kaczmarzyk of Niagara Falls, Michael Kaczmarzyk of Sacramento, CA, Paul (Pamela) Kaczmarzyk of Niagara Falls and John (Amy) Kaczmarzyk of Oakland, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Julia (Thomas) Budd and Timothy (Amy) Kaczmarzyk; her great-grandson, Leo Kaczmarzyk; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Walsh was predeceased by her husbands, Tadeusz Kaczmarzyk who passed away in 1995, and Vincent J. Walsh who passed away in 2015. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Daniel Jarlenski, Stephen Jarlenski and Sdislaw Jarlenski; and her sisters, Joanne Candy, Irene Young and Leonarda Jarlenski.
