Tina (Wiebe) Butson, longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 29, 2018. She was 78. She was born in the Rural Municipality of Montcalm, Manitoba, Canada on March 26, 1939, a daughter of the late Dietrich and Aganetha (Sawatzky) Wiebe.
Mrs. Butson worked as a bookkeeper at Wendt's Dairy in Niagara Falls for many years. She loved to crochet, especially baby blankets, and loved crafts, hockey and the Buffalo Sabres.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (John) Drozdz; two grandchildren, Corey and Monica Drozdz; and two sisters, Mary (late Bill) Griffin and Netti (Pete) Koudys. She was predeceased by her husband, Sheldon G. Butson, on January 9, 2018; her sister, Helen Gorai; and her brothers, Cornelius and Hank Wiebe
