Thomas Joseph Cheff, of Niagara Falls, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at home. He was 59. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 13, 1957, the son of Joseph T. Cheff of the Town of Niagara and Vicki Cheff of Hamburg.
Tom was a graduate of Grand Island High School; earned his BA in Architecture from the University of Buffalo and his degree of Construction Technology of ECC. For over twenty years, he owned and operated his own home improvement business. He briefly worked for Home Depot as a kitchen designer. For seventeen years, Tom was a kitchen designer for Kitchen World in Williamsville. He loved his work with home remodeling. He also enjoyed boating with the family and casually fishing with his sons.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, the former Alicia Fath; four children, Nathanael (Nicole) Cheff of Niagara Falls; Christina Cheff of Amherst; Aaron Cheff of Niagara Falls and Rachel Cheff of Niagara Falls; siblings, Jo Anne (Jim) Hambridge of Grand Island, Ann Marie (Peter) Kane of Hamburg, Joseph M. Cheff of Niagara Falls, John Filax of Tonawanda; two grandchildren, Aria Cheff- Parks and Brayden Cheff; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston.
