Steven A. 'Hoss''s Story

Steven A. 'Hoss' Sabey, 59 of Youngstown, passed away on April 28, 2017 after a short illness. He was born in Niagara Falls on November 19, 1957, the son of Doris (Royer) Sabey and the late Alfred Sabey.
Mr. Sabey was raised in Ransomville and attended Lewiston Porter High School and later BOCES and Trott Vocational High School for welding. He was an avid hunter and antique collector and worked for 30 years at a local fruit farm. He enjoyed farming as a hobby, working on cars and restoring tractors. In his younger years he was a member of a local motorcycle club called The Slaves and took pleasure in riding his bike.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Sabey is survived by his son, Al (Jillian) Sabey; his grandson, Jacob Scrivano; his sister, Deonne 'Dee Dee' (late John) Henning; his nieces, Stacey and Becky Henning and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Sabey.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
