Ronald Charles Safarian, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at his home. He was 71. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York on August 27, 1947, a son of the late Reuben and Regina (Burns) Safarian.

Ron served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked most of his career with Sevenson Environmental Services, Inc., as a teamster, retiring in 2010.

A man of many interests, he enjoyed race cars, fishing and guitars. He always looked forward to weekend breakfast with his children and spending time with his grandchildren. An animal lover, he leaves behind his faithful and beloved dog Lucy, whom he loved so much.

Ronald will be deeply missed by his children, Lauren Safarian of Niagara Falls; Carly Safarian of Tonawanda; Reuben and Armand Safarian both of the Town of Niagara; his former wife, Lynn (LaMorticella) Safarian of the Town of Niagara; two sisters, Betty Lou Ross of Buffalo and Dorothy Hennegan of Niagara Falls and two grandsons, Roman and Lincoln Eberhart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 14th from 4-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where military honors will be held at 8 PM. The interment will be at the convenience of the family.
