Robert 'Bob''s Story

Robert A. 'Bob' Band, Jr., 57, of Youngstown NY, died on Sunday November 26, 2017 in the Buffalo General Medical Center after a long illness.
Bob was born on February 25, 1960 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Robert A. Sr., and Joyce (Raybon) Band Gall.
He was a 1978 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School and had been employed as a Nursing Assistant by Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for 10 years.
He was a former member of the Lewiston Volunteer Fire Co. #1. He loved camping in Alleghany State Park and his pet dogs.
He is survived by two sons, Robert A. (Nikita) Band, III and Ryan Band, both of Youngstown; grandson, Robert A. Band, IV; sister, Donna Fallesen of Youngstown; and many aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Denise Canfield and Carol P. Band.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 9th, at 12 Noon in HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston, with the Rev. Charles Lamb officiating. There will be no prior visitation.
