Paul Dickinson, age 88, died October 4 in Severna Park, MD, after a brief illness. He was born on June 23, 1929, to the late Henry James Dickinson and Ruth Marguerite (Hill) Dickinson in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
He settled in Tonawanda with his late wife, Maria (Perez) Dickinson. They were married for 36 years. Maria lost her battle with cancer in 1989. In 1990, he married Barbara Greggs Billard. They were married for 21 years until her death in 2011.
Paul attended Niagara University. He worked for Carborundum in Niagara Falls, Bell Aerospace in Tonawanda, and Computer Task Group in Buffalo. He later worked for ACS Technologies, combining two of his main interests, church and computers. He was a longtime member of Woods Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his children, David (Diane) Dickinson of Sudbury, Mass., Donna (William) Breskin of Vienna, VA, and Mary (Richard) Lev of Bernardsville, NJ; and seven granddaughters, Katie, Kristie, Jenna, Julia, Haley, Maia and Aliza. He is also survived by Julia Fulton, whom he loved very much. He was predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Ruth (Dickinson) Millberg.
Services at 11 AM on Monday, October 16, at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park 21146. A second service will be held in Niagara Falls, date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Woods Church, or to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, Md., 21122.
