So sorry to hear about Maura. My deepest sympathy . I grew up on 80th st so your family was well known in a very good way. Even though we have all gone our separate ways. I cherish all those early memories. She was one of them.

Mrs.C, The mother of all mothers. Outlived by her husband William C. and her 4 sons. She will be remembered as the person that always looked out for the other kids in the neighborhood. She always had the neighbor kids over and would let their parents know if they were having any sort of troubles. She was the kind of person with a big heart, always spreading love to the neighborhood. The kids on the block always loved to spend time with her when she had back yard campfires, hanging out on her porch, offering a safe place to relax have a good time. ~ The Hyde Park crew will truly miss her.

My heart is heavy with the news of Maura’s passing. She was a sweetheart all the way around. We went from grade school through high school together and she had nothing but a smile for all. Oh, and was she ever a funny gal! I know what a great Mom she was and Grandmother as well as daughter, sister and earlier ,a wife. We will all miss this remarkable woman terribly here on earth. My condolances to her family, as well as her many, many friends who loved her dearly also.. ~ You are in heaven with your loved ones now and pain free darling Maura! They will now once again be the blessed recipients of your love and wonderful laughter sweet angel Maura! ~

This news was very unfortunate and my entire family share the grief with the Cuddahee and Pitarresi families. I grew up in the same neighborhood and were close with this family. I can go on and on about memories shared rather in the "hood" with the boys or getting to know Mrs. C as a parent and person. I will say I remember her as a very friendly, witty person who even when tested by her boys was stern in the most graceful way. She also adopted many of us as her boys and especially my younger brother Greg whom to me she made the fifth Beatle to Gabe "The Babe'", Osh-kosh B-Josh, Nate "The Skate," and "Messy" Jessie. We "ALL" love you Mrs. Cuddahee, and may God keep us all.

Maura and I were placed in our homerooms together due to our last names beginning with "P." She was a wonderful artist, drawing in our homeroom as well as having the ability to make me laugh or smile. She was a very kind person and I am sorry to hear of her passing. My prayers are for Maura and her family members .Karen Potwora ( "Lasalle Class of "70") Desmond
