Mary C. Mussari Mary C. Mussari, 89, of Lockport, NY, and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Newfane Rehabilitation Center. Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Anne (Piccarello) Amato.
Mary graduated from St. Bernard's High School in Detroit and later moved to Niagara Falls in the early 1950's. She was employed as a secretary in the maintenance department of Mount St. Mary's Hospital for many years prior to her retirement in the early 1990's. Mary was devoted to her family and was an excellent cook and baker. She also had a loving heart and was there for anyone at their time of need.
Mrs. Mussari is survived by her children, Louis R. (Marilyn) Mussari and Debra (Edward) Jarka; three grandchildren, Matthew Mussari, Samantha (Paul Curtis) Mussari, Courtney Jarka, and her great-grandchildren, Ella and Brennan Curtis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Angeline "Angie" Paoluzzi, George Amato, John (late Marfisa) Amato, Vincent Amato and Joseph Cufari.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 8th from 3-7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Friday at 9:15 AM, followed by Mary's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Lockport, NY, will follow at the convenience of the family.

Dear Mussari family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family. What a loving person Mary was that she loved her family so much. I know the family will cherish all the loving memories of her. God understands the pain you're going through. God can comfort you, he saves those crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 God promises to bring back to life loved ones that we have loss in death including Mary.This promise is found in the bible at John 5:28,29
