Mary Lorraine's Story
Mary 'Lorraine' Myers, of Niagara Falls, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was 82. Best known as Lorraine, she was born in Lackawanna, NY, on November 17, 1935, a daughter of the late Norton and Bessie Hayes.
She attended local schools, including St. John's Elementary School and was a graduate of the former LaSalle Junior/Senior High School, Class of 1953.
Lorraine was employed by the former Niagara County Savings Bank as a teller. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish of Prince of Peace. An avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan, she also always enjoyed a warm cup of coffee.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Myers. Survivors include her children, Susan Myers of Niagara Falls, James (Diane) Myers of West Seneca, Karen (Joel) Dick and Paul (Mary) Myers both of Niagara Falls; grandchildren, James (Amoreena) Myers, Jamie Nicholas, Ryan (Kelly) Nicholas, Stephanie (Daniel) Hefferon, Joel (fiancee, Jennifer Jordan) Dick, Timothy Baker, Zachery Dick, Kailey (Brian) Myers, Paul (Emily) Myers; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Donovan Hefferon, Erik and Olivia McCowen, Jade Myers and MacKenzi Hood; several nieces and nephews. She was also predecased by a brother, Terry Hayes.
There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12 Noon in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace, 1055 Military Road, Niagara Falls. PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. The entombment will be in Gate of Heaven.
