Marnie Catherine Mahowish


Marnie Catherine Mahowish, born March 3, 1979), passed away in her home on August 9th, surrounded by her family. She was 40 years old.
She was a life-long member of Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls.
Marnie was a unique person. Her bubbly personality and beaming grin were undeniably infectious. She loved spending time with her family, especially baby cousins.
The Maines, Demster, Brooks, and Sprankle families were tremendously important to her. Duygu Ocari, her dear friend, was also a constant in Marnie's life.
Marnie's other passion in life, was horses. Her horse, Chance, was her best friend and ultimate joy, and the staff at MK Quarter Horses was Marnie's second family.
Marnie is survived by her grandmother, Geraldine Miller; and her brother, Michael Mahowish (Tina Chilberg). Marnie is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Elaine Mahowish.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Marnie's life on Wednesday, August 14th, at LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls from 4-6:30 PM. Memorial Service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to MK Quarter Horses in Wilson, NY, or Hospice Niagara. Donations can be brought to the visitation/memorial service.
