Marion A.'s Story
Marion A. (Eustice) Thiboult, lifetime area resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She was 94. She was admitted to Hospice House on Easter Sunday. She was born in Lewiston on February 6, 1922, a daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Rieckhoff) Eustice. She attended Lewiston schools and graduated from the Red Brick School.
Mrs. Thiboult was a homemaker until the passing of her husband Arthur P. Thiboult in 1965 at which point she began her career as a legal secretary with the Niagara County Legal Aid Society. Mrs. Thiboult was a longtime member and Eucharistic Minister at Prince of Peace Church, was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge and she loved bowling, arts and crafts and attending movies.
She is survived by six children, Peggy (late John) Hazlett, Judy (James) Cornelius, Arthur (Denise) Thiboult, Gary Thiboult, William Thiboult and Donna (fiance' Clayton Dimmick) Benedict. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Carol (late Richard) Pendleton; a grandson, Roger Carlisle; and her brother, Thomas (late Marjorie) Eustice.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held at 9 PM following the visitation.
