Marilyn's Story

Marilyn Joyce Miller, age 84, of Bloomville, Town of Kortright, NY, formerly of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home on November 13, 2017. Born in Buffalo, NY on July 11, 1933, daughter of the late George and Mildred (Bulson) Lover.
Marilyn was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz, Wheatfield Garden Club, Sanborn Historical Society, Ret Hat Society, German Heritage Historical Society, and the Bergholz Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Predeceased by her husband, Theodore W. Miller, Sr. on July 1, 2005; brother, George E. Lover; and granddaughter, Kelly Miller.
Survivors include three children, Sheree L. (Edwin R.) Beach of Bloomville, NY, Theodore, W. Miller Jr. (Shirley Smith) of Crossville, TN, and David G. (Justa) Miller of Lewiston, NY; brother, Rev. William (Jackie) Lover of Virginia; eight grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 18 step-grandchildren, one step-great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday, November 17th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Dan Tabor, on Saturday, November 18th at 11 AM in St. James Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Road and Rohr Street in Bergholz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church building fund, or the Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, 1 Birchwood Drive, Oneonta, NY 13820.
