Linda Boccanera's Story
Linda Boccanera Seefeldt, 65, passed away on December 6, 2016 after a short illness in Fleming Island, Florida. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of Norma and the late Anthony Boccanera.
A graduate of Madonna High School, she worked at the DMV of Niagara Falls and was Deputy County Commissioner before retiring. For many years she was active in the local Democratic Party.
An avid reader, she also loved to bake for family and friends. Spending time with her grandchildren gave her the greatest joy.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Constance (Russel) Pecoraro, Jenna (Paul) Kankolenski, Jeffery (Gloria) Seefeldt, Chad (Melissa) Seefeldt; sister, Barbara (William) MacKendrick; brothers, Richard (Janice) Boccanera, Michael Boccanera, Mark Boccanera; and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 8, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Church, 27th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls. Internment will be at St. Joseph's cemetery.
