Lewis McClellan, formerly of Niagara Falls, passed away suddenly at his home in Ithaca, NY, on February 7th. He was 62 years old.
A 1973 graduate of NFHS, he will be remembered as an extremely talented artist.
After living many years in Milan, Italy, he served as an associate professor at Cornell University before retiring to devote himself to his family and to his art.
He is survived by his loving, long-term companion, Claudia Fuchs; son, Lorenzo Fuchs-McClellan; daughter, Natalia Fuchs-McClellan; brothers, William, Jr. (Deborah), John (Teresa); sisters, Pamela McClellan (Scott) Cantermen, Tamara McClellan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his parents, William, Sr. and Angela Lops McClellan; and sister, Mary Anne McClellan Lemieux.
A Celebration of Lewis's life will be held at the convenience of his family.
