Karen Zaleski, 62, of Charlotte, NC, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on November 1, 2017. Karen was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on August 15, 1955 to Louis and Joan Campanaro.
Karen graduated from Niagara County Community College with a business degree. After moving to Charlotte, she worked at St. Mark's Catholic Church for many years as a pre-school teacher and as the parish accountant.
Karen is survived by her husband, Richard Zaleski; sons, Vincent (Robbin) and Joseph (Shannon); sisters, Cam Campanaro and Janine (Gary) Riggi; grandchildren, Nathan and Eve Zaleski; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, December 2nd, at 10 AM at Holy Family, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY for a Christian Memorial Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the restoration of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel/Holy Family Catholic Church, 2486 Grand Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
