Justa L. (Riley) Miller of the Town of Lewiston, 57, passed on December 20, 2017 at the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. She battled cancer for four years. Justa was born at Degraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda, NY, on April 9, 1960 to Clifton and Marlene Riley (Myers).
She was a Niagara-Wheatfield High School graduate, class of 1978. She married David G. Miller on September 2, 1983 at St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz. They have four sons, Cody, Casey, Jesse, and Joshua, all of the Town of Lewiston. Justa had been employed for Niagara-Wheatfield School District as a secretary for the last 17 years. She loved her job and enjoyed being with her co-workers. She adored her flowers, swimming pool, and spending time with her grandchildren, Adaleina and Brantley Miller.
Justa is survived by her husband, David; four sons; two grandchildren; mother, Marlene; and sisters, Michele (Jack) Siegman, Banda Singh and Shawnette (Mark) Wasmund. She was predeceased by her father, Clifton; and brother, Stanley Riley.
Services will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Road and Rohr Street, in Bergholz on Saturday, December 30, at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church, or Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY, both of which made the last few months of her life as comfortable as possible.
Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home.
