I am extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Joe. I served with him for about 12 years including Millington TN. on instructor duty or NAS North Island in different squadrons and COMASWWINGSPAC.
At the time my wife and I and Joe’s then wife Winona (Noni) were the best of friends and spent many a day visiting and tossing back a few brews. I will surely miss him and all our adventures.
Our sympathy to his family, Rest In Pease Joe.

I am saddened to learn of Joe's passing. Joe dated my sister Michelle around the time I started high school at Bishop Duffy. Freshmen at Duffy were made to "clean" the school seal that was on the floor inside the main entrance with a toothbrush. The attached photo shows this activity with Joe, a senior, in the upper left and me, a freshman, in the lower right. The year was the Autum of 1959. Joe graduated the following Spring in 1960. May he rest in peace. Pat Baker

Joey was my childhood friend. He lived behind us. We both went to Holy Trinity School. We played outside, went down to 3 Sisters' islands, Devil's Hole. He was my date for my Junior Prom. After high school graduation, in 1960, he joined the navy and I went to school out of state. We lost touch. My condolences to the family. He was a great friend and we shared lots of adventures together.
