John Joseph Amendola, (Giovanni Giuseppe), slipped away peacefully on November 25, 2017 after fighting a series of challenging heart issues. John was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 1, 1933 to Rose (Moretti) Amendola and Angelo Amendola. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Lowers) Amendola and two children John 'Sonny' Amendola and Maria Deschamps Amendola-Kidnie. He is greeted in heaven by his son, Anthony Amendola. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Christina Amendola, Megan (Amendola) Quintana, Sebastien and David Deschamps and Angelo Amendola; as well as nine great-grandchildren.
John was a Graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology. John served in the US Army, Fort Bragg, NC. John worked with his father and family at Amendola Printing on Pine Avenue for many years, he also owned and operated car companies in Reno, NV. John was semi-retired, self-employed, John Amendola Advertising Specialties, catering to Las Vegas casinos. John was the organizer for the Niagara Falls Picnic in Las Vegas.
He will be missed by many who knew of his kind heart and generous nature.
