Janice N. Kirchner, age 89 of Wheatfield, formerly of Lewiston, was called to her heavenly home on September 19, 2017 at the Niagara Hospice House. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on July 31, 1928, daughter of the late Hugo and Beata (Mueller) Milleville.
A graduate of LaSalle High School, she was employed in the sales department at the Niagara Gazette, until her retirement. Janice was a long time member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz, enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and the quality time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Elwood E. Kysor, Jr. on July 31, 1998; and her second husband, Peter G. Kirchner, on May 30, 2015. Also predeceased by seven brothers and sisters, Florence Mielke, Winifred Proefrock, Beatrice Nohrvoss, Richard, Donald, Erwin and Alfred Milleville.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra (John) Schultz of North Tonawanda; a sister, Alice Lang; grandchildren, E. Joshua (Michelle) Schultz, and Amanda E. (John) Jasper; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Aiden, Reece, and Deliah; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Dan Tabor, on Saturday at 11:00 AM in St. James Lutheran Church, across from the Funeral Home. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
