James Dressler passed away peacefully in his home with family, as was his wish on August 31, 2017. Husband of 60 years to the late Sylvia Dressler (Berti). James is survived by his daughter, Amy Koban (Edward); two grandsons, Raine and Edward Koban (Carly); and three great-grandchildren, Eddie, Sibella and Kingston.
James was born in 1925 in Ginter, PA to Clyde and Elizabeth Dressler. A veteran of the US Navy, James served as a Airplane Mechanic during the Second World War. James was a factory worker at Kimberly Clark, DuPont, and Olin in Niagara Falls. James enjoyed his home, family, boating, his neighbors, yard work, and his dog. He will be remembered as a caring and generous person, who was a dedicated family man and hard worker.
No services will be held. James donated his body to the Univeristy of Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program, and his remains will be subsequently cremated.
