Jack Benny DiFranco, age 85 of Wheatfield, NY, entered into rest peacefully on October 3, 2018 at Buffalo VA Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on March 7, 1933, the son of the late Michael DiFranco and Elizabeth DiFranco.
Jack owned his own drywall business and was a well-known local plasterer, and was best known for his detailed swirled ceiling work that is featured in many area homes. He loved antique cars, attended car shows and is also remembered as an avid volleyball player, bowler and pool player. He also brought countless smiles and joy to others through his love of magic and sharing his magic tricks.
Jack was a proud Army veteran and served from 1953-1955.
Jack is survived by his son, Daniel DiFranco; and his daughters, Christine DiFranco and Elizabeth Shepp, His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Renee Sheehan (Mick), Stephanie Wisner (Kyle), Courtney DiFranco, David LeLong, Jack Shepp and Adam Shepp. He is also survived by his great-grandsons, Easton Wisner and Austin Sheehan; dear family friend, Liz LaBelle; and his brother, Mike DiFranco. Jack is predeceased by his brother, Tony DiFranco.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday, October 12 from 4-7 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael A. Keicher, on Saturday, October 13 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of your choice.

I was luck to have Jack " Flash " finish the walls and ceiling in my house a few years ago... Knew Jack through our Classic Cars and then through his art with plaster,, To his family I'm sorry for your loss.. Jack always left you laughing !

Jack was always a great friend and a source of laughter no matter how bleak times were.
He was a craftsman in his world of plastering in artful ways.
