Fannie's Story

Mrs. Fannie Pearl Robinson, age 88, beloved wife of the late Frank Moltimore Robinson, peacefully left this world on Thursday morning, April 7, 2016, at the Warner Center for Caring in Fernandina Beach.
Mrs. Robinson was born Fannie Pearl Jackson, on February 24, 1928, in Montgomery, Alabama. She was one of five children born to the late Prince and Fannie Streety Jackson. Fannie married Frank Robinson in 1949 and were blessed with 52 years of wedded bliss and seven children.  
She leaves behind one sister, Henrietta Gibson, her children, Tampe Roy Robinson, Georgia A. Robinson-Bradberry, Gwendolyn L. Matthews, Tanya M. Roberts, Tina E. Mayo, Raymond A. Robinson, Michelle M. McClain, as well as eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews especially Elbert Bethea and Alvin Cunningham. Memorial donations may be made to the Warner Center for Caring, 1348 South 18th Street, Medical Office Bldg. B, Fernandina Beach, FL  32034. A graveside service was held 1 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016, at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens in Roanoke, VA.
