Edward "Andy" Enterline, 99, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 5, 2019. Andy will rejoin his loving wife, Edith "Pat" Enterline, who passed away December 29, 2004.
Andy is survived by and will be sorely missed by his daughters, Nancy Enterline Coppede and Suzanne Enterline; grandchildren, Jodi Battiston, Christina Coppede and Richard Coppede; great-grandchildren, Carmen Zarrillo, Julia Zarrillo, Cecilia Utter and Jack Coppede; brother, Richard Enterline of Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Andy was a loyal friend to all who knew him. Throughout his long life he volunteered his time and dedication to many community services. He especially enjoyed going into public school classrooms to share his personal history of WWII.
Andy was a United States Marine and served in WWII in the 4th Marine Division, participating in the invasions of Saipan, Iwo Jima, Tinian and Roi-Namur.
Family and friends will be present Saturday, August 17, 2019, beginning at noon. Military honors by US Marine Corp and a Masonic service by Niagara LaSalle Lodge 132 F.& A.M. will be held at 3 PM in The LANE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Interment will be private in Rural Valley, Pennsylvania.
