I loved that man more then you can imagine and I hate that he is gone but he is probably in another place that he is not suffering I just remember his smile and his smoking cigars intruding my son jack I like he was his own grandchild I love that he light to garbage pick he was my hero who fought for our country who could be more beautiful than that. Strongest man I will ever run into and I know that for a fact

I remember Dave from our early childhood at Ferry Avenue School to thoroughly tough and exhausting workouts at Black Belt Studio. Dave kept it real. He would be the first to encourage you to try harder and inspire you with confidence. His "side kick' was lethal yet he sang like an angel. When Master Italo needed surgery and time to recover , Dave and Sid were at the studio immediately and offered to help even though he had serious problems himself. I would see him from time to time and he would always inquired about "how is everyone else doing." I shall always remember his warm smile and his firm handshake. Dave was a part of our life that we shall always remember. Dave ,"thank you for carin...g". God Love you.Read more

To Robin and Family,
As far back as I can remember, Dave was always in my life. From singing at the tunnel downtown when I was a kid, seeing him at the Hyde Park Ice Rink or Lackey Plaza when I went to skate, to playing tricks and scaring my dad by dressing up a mannequin next to our house and ringing the doorbell, to falling asleep as a teenager hearing him, Bobby T and my father singing Runaround Sue in the kitchen, from him singing at my wedding, from all the fun we had every year at the Venison and Suprasatta Dinners at the Como. You supported my business always. You were one of a kind. We will miss you. I know my dad will miss his best friend immensely. Heaven just became more of a fun

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.

He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.

When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.

You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on through your children, you're always by ou
...r side.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

Love Always,
Glenn A. Choolokian and Family

David inspired everyone to greatness; his leadership, friendship, loyalty and commitment to others is what made others successful. A legacy David leaves to those who were under his scope of friendship.

David drew his life’s outlook from the mighty margin upon which he began it. Another drop on the river? No, he was a wide, gentle, and powerful river all in one drop of man. His broad waters flowed through a life that lifted any it touched. The reflection of that river will always remain with anyone who knew him. Rest peacefully my good friend.

To Robin and the entire Rendina family,
Sending our deepest sympathy at this time. I know its been a very hard time for you ,Dave and the Family. I hope these flash to the past photos will give you some relief and help remind you of the good times. I`ll sorely miss not being able to see Dave when we visit home. As we all know, Dave was the life of the party with his impressively quick wit and impressions. I owe a lot of laughter and good memories to him from our early twenties and later. Our hearts go out to you going forward and wish you the best always,
Love, Paul and Mona

I first met Dave in the USARNG back in 1983. He was a very talented soldier. I served with him until he went into the Air Force Reserve. The last time that I saw him, he was at the air base in Niagara Falls and he was to be depoloyed the next day to Afghanistan. I had a chance to pray with him. I would like to extend my condolences to his family. May he RIP.
