Charles T.'s Story
Charles T. Severino of North Tonawanda, passed away on November 29, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital, after a lengthy illness at the age of 77.
Born in Dobbs Ferry, NY, Mr. Severino resided in North Tonawanda for the past 55 years. A US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He also served in the New York State Army Reserve National Guard (Connecticut St. Armory) where he was employed as a mess steward, for over 16 years. Mr. Severino was a retired employee of General Motors, where he worked for over 38 years. Mr. Severino was a life member of Buddy Knaus #14 Amvets, life member of the 74-174th Veterans Association, life member of the Blinded Vets Association, member of the Wheatfield Post #1451 American Legion and received many citations for his dedication to the military.
Beloved husband of Angelina (nee Carbella) Severino; father of Keith and Kevin Severino; dearest step-father of Michele (Gary) Wahler, Naomi (Mack) Gamble, Todd (Lois) Clark, Pamela (Louis) Buono and the late Corinna Hammond. Also survived by three grandchildren; many step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on Sunday, December 3rd, from 2-6 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, 716-692-0271, where funeral services will immediately follow at 6 PM, with the Rev. Daniel Piazza officiating.
