Charles's Story

Charles Robert Carrier, passed from this earthly life on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Our Lady of Peace, Lewiston. He was born in Cleveland, OH on August 1, 1932 the son of the late Lloyd D. and Alice (Heidenriech) Carrier.
He graduated from High School and entered the United States Navy in July of 1952 serving four years and was Honorably discharged in June 1956. Mr. Carrier was employed as a Boiler Room Operator with General Motors Harrison Radiator Plant for 20 years. He was a member of Destiny Christian Church and for a number of years attended Niagara Community Church.
Charles hobby was wood working at his home. Many gifts were made by his skillfull hands and creative mind. He blessed many people with his God given talents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Siver) Carrier; daughter, Brenda Lee (Ken) Currie of the Town of Niagara; grandchildren, Jenna (Ben) Mueller, Justin Currie and Kayla (Brendan Altman-Cosgrove) Currie; great-granddaughter, Maddison Altman-Cosgrove; son-in-law, John Wykrent; brother-in-law, Robert (Rita) Siver; sister-in-law, Erma (late Claude) Patchin; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by a daughter, Joan Marie Wykrent; and a sister, Shirley Carr.
Family will be present on Sunday, October 22nd from 1-4 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue were Rev. Louis Perez will conduct services immediately after the visitation followed by U.S. Navy Military Honors. Burial will be held Monday at 11 AM in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston.
