When I saw this picture I became so sad. I remember Mrs. Skowronski. I was a student at Hyde Park. I didn't have the privilege of being in her class but I definitely remember her beautiful face. I'm so sorry and I send my condolences to the family. One of my favorite scriptures says that God, Jehovah,
"will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:3, 4.

I really believe that and I hope that knowing this scripture is found in the Bible and is a promise from Jehovah brings you some comfort at this time distress.

Please take care and your family is in my prayers.

I kept glancing at the obits and kept getting a warm feeling when I saw this picture. I couldn't understand why, the name sort of sounded familiar but couldn't place it. Finally I read the obit and it all came back, Carol was my grade school teacher at 39th St school. What a tribute that at 68, seeing her picture, after all these years, still gave me a warm feeling. Sorry for your loss.

Carol Marie and I were friends since kindergarten. I was maid of honor in her wedding and although I live in Rhode Island, my many visits home always included a visit with her and Ron at home or out to dinner at a favorite restaurant. I am so glad that I had a chance to see her at St. Mary’s and Schoellkopf during my visit last week. I brought her a yellow gerbera daisy plant to brighten her day. I was saddened to hear if her passing the day after I returned to Rhode Island. I couldn’t Be there for her funeral but know she is in a better place. I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with Ron, Eric and family. May she Rest In Peace.
