Beatrice "Bea" Ivey

Beatrice Bea Ivey Beatrice "Bea" Ivey, of Lewiston, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was surrounded by friends and family in her daughter's home. Bea was born in Rosedale, Manitoba, Canada, on December 9, 1909, the daughter of James and Minnie Blaxill.
Bea married William H. Ivey in 1931 and, together with their two daughters, moved to the USA and became citizens in 1951. Bea lived a full life of 108 years.
She was a seamstress for the former Fox Drapery of Grand Island and a member of the Fillmore United Methodist Church in Ransomville. In her later years she enjoyed ballroom dancing.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, "Harry;" two sisters, Irene Bush and Jean MacIntosh; and her granddaughter, Kim Willis.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Paul of Lockport and Duaine Ivey of Lewiston; four grandchildren; along with five generations of great-grandchildren.
