Barbara Ann Schubert Barbara Ann Schubert, 91 of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home on February 8, 2019 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on January 3, 1928; daughter of the late Ward and Bessie (Watson) Read. Barbara was a devoted homemaker, member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, enjoyed gardening, raising African violets, played piano, and worked beside her husband at their Schubert's Greenhouse.
Survivors include four children, Linda (David) Taylor, Kenneth (Deborah) Schubert Jr., Cindy (Ray) Helsel, and Jeffrey K. (Tina) Schubert; nine grandchildren, Carrie-Ann Rinker, Scott Beal, Sherry Parham, Kenneth Schubert III, Jason Schubert, Teresa Trank, Angela Tupper, Sarah Schubert, and Jeffrey Schubert Jr.; 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth R. Schubert Sr. on December 8, 1999; a brother, Ward Read; and sister, Esther Brown.
Visitation at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Tuesday, February 12 from 3-7 p.m. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Denton White, officiating. Interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to: Wyndham Lawn Home for Children, 6395 Old Niagara Road, Lockport, NY 14094.

So sorry to learn of your loss! My mom is Joan who was in ALF with Barb and they became close friends spending their days together, enjoying Bingo and just chatting. Your mom was a wonderful and very kind lady she will be missed. RIP Barb
