Andrew Patrick Lynch Andrew Patrick Lynch, 65, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday July 12, 2018 in Chapel Hill, NC, under Hospice care and surrounded by family. Born on March 23, 1953, Andy was the son of the late Robert and Joan Lynch.
Andy attended LaSalle Senior High School and then worked at Harrison Radiator before moving on to Florida, where he began his long career working in the hotel industry. His career started as a bellman in the Breakers Hotel before being promoted to Food & Beverage Director at various locations, including the Doral Country Club. In addition, he worked in Tulsa, Atlanta and St. Thomas, before retiring as the wedding coordinator at Safety Harbor Spa and Resort where he was so loved by his clients, making sure that no wedding detail went undone.
His true passion was golf and was an avid PGA tour fan watching every tournament that was televised, and loved to play the piano whenever an opportunity existed. He was also a loyal Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan no matter where he lived in the country. Andy enjoyed working out at Planet Fitness and was a regular at the NT public library.
Andy is survived by one son, Andrew Lynch of Key West, FL, and six sisters, Mary Pollock (Tony), Margaret Kardas (Joe), Janet Bellreng (Paul), Maureen Clements (Robin), Teresa Smith (Russ) and Patricia Thaler (Danny) and two brothers, James and John (Marcia) Lynch. He was predeceased by one brother, Thomas. In addition, he is survived by several nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to him as "Uncle Buck".
Andy will always be remembered for the laughter and smiles he brought to everyone around him and his unique ability to make everyone feel as if they were the most important person in his life.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later time.
