Adalgisa Alda Louise (Zuliani) Critelli, 90 of Grand Island, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on November 16, 2017. Born October 27, 1927 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe Joseph and Luigia (Breda) Zuliani.
Alda as she was affectionately known by family and friends was raised in the North end of Niagara Falls. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. In her early years, Alda worked as a proofreader at Moore Business Forms. She later went on to have a long career as a talented seamstress at the former Homemakers, and Cancemis Furniture in Niagara Falls. In her leisure time she enjoyed bowling, lawn bowling, quilting and sewing.
Mrs. Critelli was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Albert J. Critelli. She is survived by her son, Raymond Critelli and daughter-in-law Janet Siegrist Critelli of Grand Island, granddaughter Lisa (Robert) Pyszczynski of Grand Island, grandson Jeff Critelli of Buffalo, great-grandchildren, Evan and Stella Pyszczynski, nieces, Carol Zito, and Elaine Famigletti, nephew Joe Famigletti, Jr., cousin Joyce (David) Serianni and good friends, Mary (late Fran) Leo and Lee (late John) Beltrano. She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis (Mary) Critelli, Joe (Louise) Famigletti Sr., Ernie Famigletti and Sara Critelli (Paul) Zito, niece, Dori (Frank) Massaro, cousins, Pat Mardon, Ida Manente, and dear friend Kikki Bane.
There will be no prior visitation. Funeral services and burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY.
